Variety: 70% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc
Soil: Rich in stone with the presence of clay and sand
Climate: Warm temperate, not too cold winters with hot and dry summers, spring and autumn rain.
Vintage notes: A warm year with a heat spike in August, producing forward wines with ample fruit. The best is lively and balanced; ripe and dense.
Harvest: hand-picked selected, the second week of October
Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature with racking and delestage, maceration 15 days
Maturation: 1 year in Slavonian oak barrels and 2 months in the bottle before release
Organoleptic characteristics: ruby red color, complex aroma with light notes of wild red fruits and spices. Taste of excellent structure with excellent balance between tannins and acidity, harmonious and persistent
